Blake Swihart hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the 13th inning to score Eduardo Nunez and lift the Boston Red Sox past the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 Monday night at Fenway Park.

Swihart's first career walk-off hit gave Boston its fourth victory in a row. Nunez and Brock Holt each had two hits of the Red Sox's seven hits.

Boston starter David Price tossed eight solid innings, allowing one run on eight hits and a walk while striking out five. Hector Velazquez (7-0), the Red Sox's sixth pitcher, earned the win in relief.

Phillies starter Aaron Nola threw eight strong innings, giving up four hits and one run while throwing 105 pitches, 73 for strikes. He fanned six and walked one. Austin Davis (1-1), the fifth of six Philadelphia pitchers, took the loss.

The Phillies managed 10 hits but left 12 runners on base en route to their fourth straight loss.

In the second inning, Maikel Franco hit an RBI single to left, scoring Asdrubal Cabrera for a 1-0 Phillies lead.

The Phillies had a chance to extend their advantage in the third when Carlos Santana hit a grounder to third inning with runners at second and third with one out, but they ran themselves into an unorthodox double play. Rhys Hoskins was caught between third and home, and then Odubel Herrera was tagged out running to third. Hoskins was then tagged out for the bizarre 5-2-6-5 double play.

Nunez was credited with an RBI triple in the fifth, but the extra bases occurred because center fielder Herrera appeared to misjudge the ball in the air. Jackie Bradley Jr. scored to tie the game at 1.

Price struck out Franco looking with runners on first and second and two outs in the sixth to keep the game tied.

Holt led off the eighth with a double off the Green Monster in left, but Nola rallied to retire the Red Sox in order to keep the game tied at 1.
