The Tampa Bay Rays try to keep the momentum of a big Opening Day victory over New York going when they host the Yankees on Tuesday in the middle contest of a three-game series. Tampa Bay delighted a sellout crowd of 31,042 with a combination of pitching, speed and power to defeat New York 7-3 on Sunday as it tries to erase the memory of a 66-win campaign in 2016 and serve notice that it can become a surprise contender in the American League East.
Colorado at Milwaukee 7:40 PM ET
After winning their season opener, the Colorado Rockies look to improve to 2-0 under new manager Bud Black when they continue their road series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. Mark Reynolds homered and drove in three runs Monday as the Rockies won on Opening Day for the third straight season.

Edwin Encarnacion looks to follow up a smashing debut with the team when his Cleveland Indians visit the Texas Rangers for the middle contest of their three-game series on Tuesday. Encarnacion, who signed a three-year, $60 million contract in the offseason, went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and two runs scored as the Indians rallied from a four-run deficit for an 8-5 victory in Monday’s season opener for both teams.
Seattle at Houston 8:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros received a superb pitching performance in the season opener and hope for more of the same when they continue their four-game series against the visiting Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. Dallas Keuchel combined with a pair of relievers on a three-hit shutout Monday as Houston extended its Opening Day winning streak to five games, putting pressure on Lance McCullers Jr. to follow suit.
Chi. Cubs at St. Louis 8:15 PM ET

If Opening Night was any indication, the rivalry between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs will provide plenty of thrills in 2017. The Cardinals host the reigning world-champion Cubs for the middle contest of their three-game series Tuesday after claiming a walk-off win in the season opener.

San Francisco at Arizona 9:40 PM ET
Opening Day looked a lot like last season for the San Francisco Giants, who saw their bullpen ruin a stellar outing by Madison Bumgarner in a 6-5 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. After a day off, the Giants look to bounce back Tuesday against the host Diamondbacks, who are eager to get off to a quick start after opening last season with a 13-18 mark.

Oakland outfielder Khris Davis, who belted a relatively quiet 42 home runs last season, appears intent on making even more noise in his second year with the Athletics. After hitting two homers on Opening Day, Davis aims for another strong performance Tuesday as the Athletics continue their four-game series against the visiting Los Angeles Angels.
