St. Louis at Philadelphia 1:05 PM ET
The visiting St. Louis Cardinals aim to bring out the brooms for the second straight series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday afternoon when the clubs reconvene at Citizens Bank Park. The Cardinals outscored the Phillies 16-7 en route to winning three straight at Busch Stadium last week before working extra innings for the second straight night in a 7-6 triumph in 10 frames on Wednesday.
Chi. White Sox at Minnesota 1:10 PM ET
After finding themselves on the wrong end of a four-game sweep in their last series, the Minnesota Twins aim to bring out the brooms in the finale of a three-game set against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday afternoon. Miguel Sano has homered in back-to-back contests to raise his team-leading total to 18 for Minnesota, which is vying for its first home sweep since a season-opening triumph over Kansas City.
Toronto at Texas 2:05 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays once again aim to boost their record to .500 when they conclude their four-game series against the host Texas Rangers on Thursday afternoon. Toronto is one game below the break-even mark for the ninth time this season but suffered a loss in each of the other eight attempts.
Pittsburgh at Milwaukee 2:10 PM ET
The Milwaukee Brewers put a three-game slide in their rearview mirror and aim to gain a split of a four-game home series against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday afternoon. Domingo Santana's go-ahead, two-run homer capped a three-run seventh inning on Wednesday as Milwaukee rallied for a 4-3 victory.
Arizona at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
The National League West race is shaping up as the most competitive in the majors, and the Arizona Diamondbacks appear ready to play a key role. Arizona has won eight of its last nine contests heading into Thursday afternoon's rubber match of its three-game series against the host Colorado Rockies, who dropped out of first place with Wednesday’s 16-5 loss.
Houston at Oakland 3:35 PM ET
Another four-game sweep was on the minds of the Oakland Athletics, but they had visions of being on the winning end. Oakland looks to avoid coming up empty against the Houston Astros when it hosts the series finale on Thursday afternoon.
Cleveland at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
Jose Ramirez has recorded nine straight multi-hit performances to propel the Cleveland Indians to the top of the American League Central. The reigning AL Player of the Week will aim to set a franchise record for consecutive multi-hit contests on Thursday as the Indians vie for their eighth win in nine outings during the finale of a four-game series at the Baltimore Orioles.
LA Angels at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees' long losing streak is a thing of the past, as is their stay in second place in the American League East. Back in first place - where they sat alone for a month before sliding behind Boston earlier this week - the Yankees aim for a series win when they host the Los Angeles Angels in the rubber match of a three-game set Thursday.
Chi. Cubs at Miami 7:10 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs have had a tough time on the road and they begin an 11-game trip with four against the Miami Marlins, who have been red-hot at home lately. Miami was being no-hit by Washington’s Max Scherzer entering the eighth inning Wednesday before rallying for a 2-1 win, giving the Marlins their fifth straight series victory at home as they prepare to host the Cubs on Thursday.

San Francisco at Atlanta 7:35 PM ET
Matt Adams provided more evidence Wednesday why the Atlanta Braves want to keep him on the field after Freddie Freeman returns from a broken wrist, as they enter Thursday’s home contest with the San Francisco Giants looking to win the four-game series. Adams slugged a two-run fourth-inning homer in Wednesday’s 5-3 victory, his 11th longball in 30 games in a Braves uniform coming a few hours after Freeman told reporters he plans to move to third base upon his return to keep Adams in the lineup.
Detroit at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners didn't have a single baserunner through five innings of their latest victory but are in position to complete a four-game sweep of the visiting Detroit Tigers on Thursday. Seattle emerged from Wednesday's slumber to post a 7-5 victory, moving ahead for good on Robinson Cano's two-run double in the seventh inning.
NY Mets at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers moved into first place in the National League West on Wednesday and are playing like a team that could be there for a while. Los Angeles has won six straight contests and 12 of its last 13 heading into Thursday’s series finale against the visiting New York Mets, who have been outscored 30-8 while losing the first three games of the set.
